Daina Schreiber is proud to be the owner and head stylist of DKVS Hair: an intimate, client-focused hair studio that offers a wide range of hair services.

Daina firmly believes that we are the sum of our experiences; this is true in life, as well as the craft of hair styling. After 20+ years spent honing her skills, Daina has learned that the vital factor in determining the longevity of a stylist, or salon, is a commitment to continuing education.

Daina’s approach is an amalgamation of various techniques, and schools of thought. To her, the style of a client’s hair is determined by their personal taste, the type of hair they have, and the style that works best for them; not by compelling clients into whatever the latest trend or fad is.

Daina has received training from Vidal Sassoon, Tony & Guy, L’Oreal, Wella, and Goldwell, just to name a few. Daina works tirelessly to create a well-crafted style for her clients, one that is unique, and looks just as good on its second week as it did the first day out of the studio.

Daina is also a dedicated colour educator for Affinage – a vibrant colour line that is her current obsession, and the colour line of choice for DKVS Hair. Daina is excited to share her knowledge of both colour and this product line with other talented stylists.

DKVS Hair endeavours to create a welcoming, comfortable, and professional atmosphere; a trip to the salon should be relaxing and pampering, not stressful, or overwhelming.

We are not a ‘hair factory’; you will never be treated like a commodity, or passed from stylists to stylist in a clinical and uninspiring environment; we will never rush through an appointment simply for the sake of a few dollars.

As a small, locally-owned business, we care deeply about our craft, and ensuring our clients leave feeling happy and inspired; we promise to always go that extra mile to show how much we appreciate our clients.
